Science Resource Center: thousands of topic overviews, experiments, biographies, pictures and illustrations are just a few clicks away and the latest scientific developments are covered in articles from over 200 magazines and academic journals and links to quality web sites.

Grolier Online Passport: Grolier Online is published by Scholastic Library Publishing, Inc., a division of Scholastic Inc. It includes three encyclopedia databases: Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, and The New Book of Knowledge.

ProQuestt: Full-text articles from magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, and educational journals.

SIRS Knowledge Source: SIRS Knowledge Source (SKS) is a database portal which is comprised of several distinct reference databases including SIRS Researcher®, SIRS Government Reporter®, SIRS Renaissance®, SKS WebSelect™. Full-text articles and Internet resources are carefully selected from thousands of domestic and international publications and respected organizations.

Student Resource Center: Broad database offering resources in literature, cultures, science, history, and geography. Full-text articles from reference works, primary sources, and periodicals.

World Book Online: Encyclopedia, reference, and multimedia sources. Good starting point for a general overview. Includes links to reviewed web sites.

Cell Models: An Interactive Animation: CELLS alive! represents 30 years of capturing film and computer-enhanced images of living cells and organisms for education and medical research. The site has been available continuously and updated annually since May of 1994 and now hosts over 4 million visitors a year. Click on “Animal Cells” to see the cell diagram, then click on individual organelles.
